Fright Planet is currently accepting applications for the 2025 season! We are looking for energetic people who want to become part of Haunting History! Come join our theatrical cast of weird, demented, crazy, scary, and funny (looking) by joining our volunteer team!
Here are the positions we have available:
BUILD CREW
Build crews help setup this haunted show! From building our sets to painting and decorating. If you have a passion in theater arts, you'll love working on our haunted attractions! No experience necessary. You'll actually learn a ton from our friendly staff and fellow cast members! People interested in this position must be able to work unloading, lifting up to around 75 lbs., moving things, screwing walls together, painting, decorating, etc. Electrical or carpentry skills a plus.
ACTING ROLES
Fright Planet provides an easy way breaking into show business! The only thing different about us might just be the scare factor. Other than that, we run the entire operation like a well chirographer theatrical production! For the new actor to the well seasoned; we have a right position for you! Remember, a love for Halloween and those things haunted is a plus! Attending Scare School is required (usually three classes that last about 2-hours each).
TECH CREW
Love the technical, but mostly behind the scenes types of gigs? Tech responsibilities include: Controlling props, electronics, effects, lights, and sound. It's the Tech Crew who makes the show run smoothly and look cool! It's a great place to start working if you're not too comfortable with acting.
GUEST SERVICES
Keeping our cast members, sets, and guests safe is the responsibility of Guest Services. From crowd control to entrance admittance; guest services do it all! If you love dealing with the public, you'll love being part of Guest Services!
Please note: Not everyone will qualify for a part in our show. If your application is approved, you will contact by phone by our casting department to schedule a Casting Call date for you to meet with them. During the interview process of the Casting Call, you will be notified if you receive a call-back to move forward in the process! We ask that you show up on time and be able to commit as many nights that we are open as possible.

A. Sorry, we are not able to provide or pay for any transportation.
Q. How much will I get paid?
A. Fright Planet is theatrical based Haunted Theme Park show that is run by volunteers. When joining our team you are in understanding that this is a non-paying job. However, we do have many incentives such as free admission tickets, t-shirts, hoodies, field trips, party nights, PLUS DINNER NIGHTLY for our valued cast members. Additionally, stipends and/or perks may be added and will be announced at our casting call or during the season. You will also make a lot of long lasting friends and be in a fun, safe, and memorable environment.
Q. Do people actually volunteer?
A. You better believe it! Each year we get more people interested than we can use. This is why we run Fright Planet like a theater production, including casting calls, auditions, and specific roles! Trust us, when we say it's fun--IT'S REALLY THAT FUN!
